Now that Autumn has arrived, Berry colours are in season and trending for interiors! As the weather becomes cooler outside, you can incorporate deep rich colours into your home for a warmer and more inviting feel.
In contrast, you can pair deep reds and pinks with pastel colours or lighter colours so that the rich colours will be stand out and become a statement in the room. For example, a burgundy sofa will be the focus in white/neutral room and it also adds a pop of colour into the room.
Berry tones such as deep reds, pinks and purples are rich and dark in colour giving off a more sophisticated and elegant look and would work well contrasted with bold jewel tones such as Emerald Green. The combination of dark hues and jewel tones creates a moodier theme; giving your home more character.
Mixing colours and different shades of pinks, reds and purples can add more character and makes for an interesting combination. A nice example is shown below demonstrating this – there is a purple coloured lacquer drawer with the purple wall colour and dark plum headboard.
At Camerich we have over 100 fabrics to choose from, so you can tie in your fabulous new sofa to match your colour scheme.
Shown above our Alison sofa looks striking in a deep plum, accented with bol cushions.
If you're nervous committing to a whole sofa, you can still tie in a berry tone theme using smaller details to give the room an accent of colour.
Below, our popular Amor sofa is shown accentuated with scatter cushions in Cranberry, Ruby and Mulberry.
Our Stilts storage units have the option of a glossy red laquer, which looks striking against the dark wood. For instance, the Stilts sideboard and Tall storage cabinet can come in a Black Walnut and Red Lacquer finish.
