How do I choose my rental furniture?

You can choose from the entire Camerich Furniture collection - any size, configuration or finish. You can do this by browsing the website, or contact the Rental Team to put together a personalised design proposal based on your requirements. If you need items sooner than 10-12 weeks (this is the lead time for custom-ordered items), we have an extensive range of stock items available for faster delivery, but you will be restricted to the stock finishes and sizes.

Where appropriate, we can also offer a Home Visit service to advise on furnishing, layout, colour scheme and offer general design advice. The service is free, but only available subject to availability within M25.

What does the "Order Value" mean and why does it have to be over £10,000?

The Order Value is what the furniture you've chosen would cost to buy outright at full RRP including Vat. We use this figure to work out your rental fees, - it is NOT the amount of Rental Fees you have to pay.

You can only use our Rental Service if the Order Value is over £10,000. This does NOT mean you have to spend £10,000 Rental Fees to qualify, it just means that the value to buy of the furniture you choose must come to more than £10,000. There is a minimum order because the Rental service is specifically aimed at property professionals furnishing large projects. Having a minimum Order Value allows us to keep the Rental fees as low as possible - delivery, installation and management of smaller projects simply aren't possible at the low prices we offer.

What's your minimum rental term?

We don't have a minimum rental term; however, we do have a minimum rental charge, which is one month. When you place your order you must pay a deposit equivalent to 12 months rental fees, the delivery/installation/collection fee, plus an allowance for VAT. If you return the furniture before 12 months are up, then you will only be charged for the months you have had the furniture (partial months are charged as full months), and the delivery/installation/collection fee.

So, even if you only want to rent the furniture for a day, you would still need to pay the deposit equivalent to 12 months rental fees, the delivery/installation/collection fee, plus an allowance for VAT when placing the order, but would only be charged for 1 months Rental Fees and the delivery/installation/collection fee when you return the furniture and your deposit is refunded. For longer-term rentals, after the twelfth month you will be charged annually in advance, and unused full months rental fees will be refunded when you return the furniture. The first month's rental fees are 11.5% of the Order Value and are non-refundable. Months 2 to 24 are charged at 1.5% of the Order Value, and 0.25% of the Order Value month 25 onwards. You can cancel your contract at any time with 30 days notice.

What if I require delivery outside M25?

Camerich can deliver anywhere within the UK. The delivery/installation/collection fees quoted on the website would change though - contact us with the address and we can provide a quote.

Why is the first month more expensive?

Month one essentially ensures the required minimum fee is charged for your rental. Your rental project receives our undivided attention from planning and scheme development right through until managing the returns and restocking process. These tasks are required whether you require the furniture for a day or a decade, hence the first month being more expensive. The overall rental cost is still extremely low, especially when spread over a slightly longer period.

How quickly can I have my furniture delivered?

If you have chosen stock or faster delivery items, this can often be done within a week of you placing the order. If you prefer to choose from our more extensive range of custom-order items, these typically take 10-12 weeks to be manufactured.

Will the furniture be built or is this something I need to arrange?

Camerich offer a white glove service which includes delivery, installation and even the removal of all packaging - meaning you don't have to lift a finger.

What if I decide to keep the furniture?

If you can't bring yourself to part with all or part of your furniture package, camerich would be able to offer a potential purchasing price at this point so you never have to say goodbye.

What happens if some of my furniture is damaged when it is returned?

There are no penalties to general wear and tear on returned furniture, enabling you to use the furniture as if it were your own.

Do I have to keep the furniture for the whole 12 months?

No, you can cancel your contract and return the furniture at any time with 30 days notice. You would only be charged for the time that you had the furniture (note partial months are charged as full months), and the delivery/installation/collection fee.

When I decide to end my rental agreement, how quickly can the furniture be collected?

There is no fixed contract making this an incredibly flexible service. We request 30 day's notice to cancel and collect, though we can often collect either all or part of your furniture package much sooner than that should you require it.

Are you able to provide home accessories as well as furniture?

Home accessories can also be included within your furniture package. Our fully trained interior design team provide everything from beautiful furniture right through to the very important home accessories, which will provide the finishing touches to complete the look. Note we can only rent accessories (including mattresses) for show-homes - they must be returned in brand-new, unused condition. If you require accessories that you wish to use (for example in a tenanted property), we are happy to source and supply them, but they are to be purchased rather than rented.
