Brazilian Architects Studio Arca have created an eclectic, warm apartment just outside of Rio de Janeiro, facing a lagoon amidst foggy mountains.
Keeping the walls a mixture of white, concrete and wood panelling, the space allows for any combination of colours to be put forward and yet work within the space.
In the main part of the living room, the focus is againthe art and the cosy, luxury seating space. Our Freetown sofa would be the perfect candidate for this open, large room. Tone down the art with a more neutral, subtle finish such as the Crest or one of our new neutral weaves:
To add a little elegant luxury to the room, opt for the Element coffee table in Italian Carrara marble.
To achieve a similar look, opt for our Amor chaise long. Whilst this property boasts a stunning millennial pink velvet, you can recreate a similar look with a bright coloured velvet or any one of our prime colours. Complete the perfect relaxation area with the Vary side table, shown below in stunning imperial green marble.
The dining room-cum-gallery contains minimal décor, with a large round dining table akin to our Unity dining table, shown on the right,, which also conveniently comes with a Lazy Susan. Whilst the chairs are antique, you can opt for our Ming or Leaf dining chairs to add to the quirkiness of the art displayed. Finish the look with the Flos Superloon lamp, which can be purchased through Camerich.
In order to ground the space, and stop it from looking like a showroom, add some vintage pieces, and other styles of furniture, as well as plants.
