Grey: How To Make It Work For You

Let’s start with a lighter shade. Take our Concrete Fabric for example, shown above. This is the perfect one-tone shade of grey to compliment a number of pastel colours. It is also the perfect contrast shade to deep blues and greens. When you go for a light grey sofa, it gives you loads of room to experiment with soft furnishings such as cushions and throws. We have many different sizes of feather filled cushions you can have upholstered on all of our fabrics and leathers to play around with.

Our customers often come in to talk fabrics with us, they often love the simplicity of grey, however should they move away from this and go for something different? A little bolder? The great thing about grey is that we will have one that will work for you.

Lastly, let’s take our Granite Fabric. This grey is slightly more complex with taupe undertones to it. This is the perfect grey to have in a home that has more earthy, natural tones and materials such as wood. Colours to perfectly compliment this grey would be rich purples and reds.

The thing to remember about grey, is that you can have so many shades and many with different undertones. We have a wide selection from light grey thick weaved fabrics, to dark grey and thin weaved.

Next, let’s take our Nickel Fabric. This particular grey fabric has cooler, light blue undertones to it. Colours to perfectly compliment this grey are sky blues and mint greens which bring out the blue beautifully in your home.
