Winter Trends: All The Blues

According to Pantone, Blue is the new Black. Blue is everywhere when it comes to interiors, from textiles to walls and furniture, blue is the colour of 2020. Create a beautiful setting by being brave with colour.

Blue is such a versatile colour, it can represent tranquillity and calm but can also evoke a sense of strength. Darker shades can create a more dramatic space whilst lighter tones can make the room feel more spacious. This is ideal for smaller spaces.  You can always start by adding blue accessories or smaller pieces of furniture and add to it from there!

Either way blue is always a good choice!

By using blue in your space, you can create a strong and bold look that can easily be softened up by combining it with a lighter colour. This prevents the blue from overpowering the room. You can also break up the scheme by adding a pop of mustard or a cushion or two and remember to bring nature in by adding some plants or fresh flowers.

It is easy to say blue, but when it comes to picking which shade of blue, that’s where it gets tricky. Here at Camerich we have a range of blue materials and leathers, and if you can’t find that perfect shade of blue you have been looking for, we do offer the choice of choosing your own material. By sourcing your own material, you can create that unique and bespoke look that will make your space stand out. Our Design consultants can help you when it comes to offering advice and choosing the right colours.

In the winter months it’s time to cosy up. Don’t forget to add a rug or throw to keep the look cosy.
